This is thanks to its magnificent fireplace (very appetising at this time of year) and its privileged location in the middle of a mountain range with characteristic flora and vegetation. The best month to visit Alcalá de Henares is October. This is when the Cervantes Week kicks off, commemorating the baptism of the playwright Miguel de Cervantes.
