The Spanish Confederation of Travel Agents (CEAV) will recognise Paradores for it service to tourism at a ceremony that will take place on 7 November next in Seville, coinciding with the 5th Travel Agent Associations Conference. The award will be received by the President and CEO, Óscar López.

Here at Paradores we are committed to sustainability and we have put in place a number of different initiatives to protect the environment, one of which is the reduction of single-use plastic. 

We are the first hotel chain in Spain to make biodegradable and compostable sugarcane containers available to diners to take their food away. This reinforces our commitment to sustainability and the circular economy and to align our goals as a company with the Sustainable Development Goals established in the UN 2030 Agenda.

Parador de Jávea and Cala Blanca cove: This viewpoint is located in La Caleta. Its name (White Cove in English) comes from the white walls of the mountains that surround the cove. There is a stone where you can enjoy jumping into the see.

Parador de Granada

Are you looking for somewhere with history? Ronda is a wonderful place where you'll find a Parador. Do you want to know a bit more? Arunda, as the Celts called it, is one of the oldest cities in Spain. It has diverse architecture and is located in the province of Malaga. Its origins date back to the Neolithic period, although its most important role was with the arrival of the Nasrid dynasty. In 1485 it was conquered by the Catholic Monarchs.

Málaga is one of the Spanish cities with more quality of life. Its mild temperatures and its tranquil lifestyle are two of the attractions that make tourists choose this destination to enjoy their holidays. And the city boasts two Paradores in unique locations. Tell me more!

Nerja, in Málaga, is full of beaches, crystal clear waters and cliffs. But, that's not all. If you like adventure and travelling in cooler seasons, you can also visit many charming places and carry out activities where you can enjoy the natural landscape. What can you do and visit?

The Menga and Viera dolmens, located strategically and facing the mountainous formation of La Peña de los Enamorados in Antequera, Málaga, are tombs dating back to 6,500 years ago (Neolithic period). During your visit to these monuments that are imbedded within the scenery, you can picture how society lived and the architectonic planning that existed at the time. Thanks to the good preservation of the structure we can see great blocks of stone that make up the space and the tumulus that cover them.
