Since its inception, Paradores has been much more than a network of accommodation; it is a public institution that safeguards, promotes and disseminates Spain's cultural heritage. In our 98+1 Paradores, spread across all of Spain's autonomous communities and one in Portugal, with a particular presence in towns with fewer than 5,000 inhabitants, art is an essential part of the experience. Tapestries, sculptures, graphic works, paintings, furniture, archaeological pieces... The Paradores Art Collection, with nearly 10,000 works, is probably the most extensive and widely dispersed in the country in terms of simultaneous exhibition.
But it is not just about conservation. Paradores is actively committed to contemporary Spanish art, incorporating new emerging and established artists into its collection every year. In recent projects, more than 30 artists have added their work, and in 2025 the acquisition of new pieces by other artists is planned. This commitment makes Paradores a living showcase for culture, accessible and committed to quality cultural tourism.
Paradores at the Estampa 2025 Fair
The Estampa fair, which is celebrating its 33rd edition in collaboration with IFEMA MADRID, is one of the major contemporary art events in Spain. With a clear focus on sustainable collecting and strengthening the national gallery scene, Estampa brings together professionals, institutions, curators and collectors from all over Europe every autumn.
In addition to exhibitions, the fair hosts acquisition awards, residencies, professional forums and meetings with the public, consolidating its role as a platform for dialogue and promotion of art in our country. In this context, our participation in Estampa 2025 marks a milestone for Paradores, as it is the first time we have taken part in a contemporary art fair, and we do so with the firm intention of sharing our vision of art as living heritage, in constant dialogue with the land, the community and the traveller.

What you will see at the Paradores stand
The Paradores stand at Estampa will be a window onto its art collection, its model for protecting art and its commitment to Spanish contemporary art.
Visitors to our stand at Estampa will be able to discover very special pieces from our collection, as these works will be part of the future Parador de Ibiza. It will also be an opportunity to learn more about the history behind our art collection , and to talk to the team that cares for it, expands it and keeps it alive on a daily basis.
And as we like to surprise our visitors, we have prepared something special for those who visit us at the fair. Come and meet us, let yourself be carried away by an experience that combines art, place and emotion, and discover how at Paradores we understand art as an essential part of who we are.
