Two new destinations to experience nature with Paradores
16 de September 2025

At Paradores, we know that travelling is much more than just getting from one place to another: it can be a way of caring, connecting and transforming. Under the umbrella of the Nature for the Senses programme, we are taking a firm step towards sustainable, responsible and deeply human tourism.

This programme was created with a clear mission: to highlight biodiversity, support local producers and revitalise the rural areas where Paradores are located. It is an invitation to rediscover Spain through its landscapes, history and people, generating social, environmental and economic benefits that last beyond your stay.

On this occasion, two Paradores are joining this commitment to sustainable tourism with enthusiasm: Molina de Aragón and Sigüenza. Both are joining the initiative with attractions that go beyond accommodation and gastronomy, highlighting the natural environment, local traditions and the cultural wealth that surrounds them.

From the living history of Sigüenza to the landscapes of the Upper Tagus in Molina de Aragón, these Paradores actively contribute to the development of their communities, offering experiences that connect travellers with the rural essence of Spain. Outdoor activities, encounters with local producers and interpretive trails are just some of the ways in which these destinations invite visitors to discover, feel and respect the land.

Molina de Aragón: the youngest member of the family

The Parador de Molina de Aragón, the latest addition to the Paradores network, is making its debut in this programme with an offering that combines nature, culture and tradition. From walks among medieval walls to routes through the Alto Tajo Geopark, each experience is designed to activate the senses and reconnect with what’s essential.

Among the Nature for the Senses activities at the Parador de Molina de Aragón, you will find: Goats and senses, an immersion in traditional shepherding in Torralba de los Sisones. From ravines to stars, hiking along ancient sea beds and stargazing. Essential moors, visits to lavender fields and essential oil distilleries, or Molines routes, featuring geological and natural exploration of the Upper Tagus.

Sigüenza: living history in a natural setting

The majestic castle that houses the Parador de Sigüenza is the starting point for experiences that celebrate the natural wealth of its surroundings. Just 7 km away, the Barranco del Río Dulce Natural Park offers a spectacle of biodiversity that can be explored with local guides.

Some of the activities offered by the Nature for the Senses programme at the Parador de Sigüenza are: Exploring Félix's house, where you can observe birds and protected flora. Among the goats, you will step into the shoes of a shepherd, learn about their daily life and enjoy a picnic lunch. And finally, Salt and Sky, a tour of the ancient salt flats where, from the most unexpected viewpoints, we will contemplate the sun, the stars and the wonder of the small things.

The echo of your stay

With Nature for the Senses, Paradores not only invites you to discover unique places in Spain, but also to be part of a movement that is committed to respect for the environment, the circular economy and rural roots. Molina de Aragón and Sigüenza join a network that extends throughout the country, where each Parador becomes a refuge for the senses and a driving force for change.
