[email protected]Welcome to Parador de Molina de Aragón, a unique destination where modernity and history intertwine in perfect harmony. Located in the province of Guadalajara, this is the ninth parador in Castilla-La Mancha, joining the rich tradition of hospitality already offered by the paradores of Toledo, Cuenca, Albacete, Sigüenza, Alarcón, Manzanares, Almagro and Oropesa. In a privileged location due to its natural surroundings, this accommodation extends over 7,500 square meters and is designed to offer an unforgettable experience to its guests.
The Parador has 24 elegant rooms, including two luxury suites, all with impressive views of the majestic castle of Molina de Aragón, a 12th-century walled fortress built on the remains of an arab citadel. This spectacular building with avant-garde design is a testament to the ability to combine history and modernity, with huge windows that flood the interiors with natural light and allow you to enjoy the beauty of the surrounding landscape. Each room has been designed to blend in with the surroundings, ensuring that the medieval landscape is an integral part of your stay. In addition, the Parador offers spacious common areas, where artistic design and vibrant colours take centre stage, turning every corner into a living work of art.
Parador de Molina de Aragón is not only a haven of tranquillity, but also a driving force of economic and social revitalization for the Señorío de Molina. Conceived almost two decades ago, this project was born out of the tragedy of the fire that devastated 13,000 hectares in July 2005, with the aim of paying tribute to the victims and stimulating the rebirth of the affected area. Today, the parador stands as a symbol of hope and renewal, attracting visitors from around the world and generating a positive impact on the local community. With facilities that include a restaurant, café, spa, parking and event spaces with capacity for 300 to 500 people, the Parador de Molina de Aragón is a destination where history, art and nature come together to offer an incomparable experience.

The best regional cuisine in unique spaces
Paradores offers the exclusive experience of enjoying regional, local and km zero cuisine in unique spaces. Our cuisine is strongly linked to the places where the 98 hotels are located, presenting the best gastronomy of the different Spanish regions. Pioneers in local cuisine, we have strengthened our commitment to local products in search of the best raw materials and reaffirming our commitment to sustainability.
Take advantage of the Paradores offers
In Molina de Aragón we can visit the second largest castle in Spain and its province. The entire Molina-Alto Tajo region has been declared a UNESCO World Geopark, and here we can discover one of the most impressive landscapes in Spain due to the geodiversity and biodiversity of the area.
During your stay at the Parador you will be able to discover a territory where the canyons and gorges, as well as the meandering of the Tajo and its tributaries, will allow you to enjoy a landscape of unparalleled beauty with corners of pure nature such as the Magic Rocks of the Sierra de Caldereros, the enchanted cities of Chequilla and Peñalén in the Hoya del Espino area, Salto de Poveda, the impressive Sima de Alcorón, the Escaleruela waterfall, the Mesa Valley... and many more magical places.
In the area you can also visit and explore the history of the place, from Paleolithic examples such as the cave of the Casares, passing by the Celtiberian fort of Ceremeño, the castle of Zafra famous for the Game of Thrones series or the sanctuary of the Virgen de la Hoz nestled in an impressive ravine.
In addition to all this, it is worth visiting the city of Molina de Aragón and being able to visit the Molina Museum, the Romanesque bridge over the Gallo River, the Giraldo weather vane located on the tower of the church of San Francisco, the Molina mansions, the Tower of Aragón and, of course, the Alcázar of Molina de Aragón.
Our recommendations
- Puente de San Pedro, where the Gallo River flows into the Tajo
- Salto del Campillo
- Mirador del Alto Tajo
- Peralejos de las Truchas, a town surrounded by an extremely beautiful landscape and famous for José L. Sampedro's novel "El río que nos lleva"
- Salinas de Saelices de la Sal, where you can visit ancient salt mines and observe the traditional methods of salt extraction and visit its museum.
- In addition, you can enjoy the endless routes for hiking, cycling, motorcycles, etc. To get where no one else gets!
