The Palencia Mountains in Cervera de Pisuerga

Waking up in the middle of the Natural Park of Fuentes Carrionas and Fuente Cobre with views of the forests of Palencia is a priceless experience. From the Parador de Cervera de Pisuerga, you can see the crystal clear waters of the Ruesga Reservoir, Almonga mountain, the most representative of the region, Espigüete rock with its rivers and caves and, lastly, Curavacas, a place with unique plant species.

Mojácar, between the mountains and the sea

If you come from a big city, the views offered by the Parador de Mojácar will be the contrast you need to calm your restless mind. Busy roads, skyscrapers and queues of cars are left behind. The superior rooms of this Parador look directly onto Piedra de Villazar beach. And if you decide to climb to the top of the town of Mojácar, you will also be able to observe the beauty of the Sierra de la Cabrera. Although Mojácar is famous for its beaches, it offers many interesting activities in nature. For example, a visit to the Natural Park of Cabo de Gata is a must. There you can discover majestic cliffs such as Punta de los Muertos.

Jarandilla, a natural oasis

The Parador de Jarandilla de la Vera is a perfect viewpoint overlooking nature. Whether on the terrace, in the spectacular colourful lounges, or even at the very entrance of the parador, you will be able to enjoy an unbeatable sight: a panoramic view of the valley together with the mountains of Toledo. On your walk around the surrounding area you can discover treasures such as the natural gorges of La Jaranda or Los Infiernos Nature Reserve. And just a few kilometres away are three sanctuaries to help you switch off: Jerte Valley, Sierra de Gredos Regional Park and Monfragüe National Park.

A perfect panoramic view of Gredos Mountains

The Parador de Gredos is located amidst mountain rivers, rugged rocks and green pine forests. A perfect location for discovering some of the most beautiful spots in the region. The Central Massif will catch your eye. A magnificent enclave to contemplate from your room and recommended for a visit for horse riding routes and adventure sports. Almanzor summit, the highest peak in Sierra de Gredos, is clearly visible to those staying at the Parador. But in addition to enjoying these places while you clear your mind of worries, we suggest a plan without leaving the hotel: how about a game of tennis on the hotel courts, surrounded by an aromatic pine forest?

La Seu d'Urgell: valleys full of history

They say that the best way to admire a work of art is from a distance. The Parador de La Seu d'Urgell is 50 metres from the cathedral of Santa Maria, the greatest artistic exponent of the Romanesque style in Urgell. In the other wing of the building, the Cadi mountain range can be seen through the windows. This area has a great variety of tree species including oak, beech and holm oak. The ecosystem also stands out for the richness of its fauna. It is home to deer, wild boar, marmots and birds such as bearded vultures, eagles and grouse. And how about relaxing in the heated swimming pool after a day exploring the surrounding area?

Breakfast overlooking the Picos de Europa at Fuente Dé

The Parador de Fuente Dé is located in a glacial cirque of beech trees. It offers multiple panoramic views making it a unique place. From here you can contemplate the majesty of the central massif of the Picos de Europa. You can also see Coriscao summit, one of the most emblematic of the mountain range, the source of the river Deva and Liébana valley, with its green meadows, high mountains and beautiful villages such as Potes. Imagine breakfast accompanied by this treat for your senses? Just a few metres away is a cable car that will take you to the top of the mountain for hiking routes or simply to admire the views and the beauty of the surroundings. What's more, in Liébana Valley itself you'll find a rich historical and artistic heritage, including the famous monastery of Santo Toribio.
