The Parador de Chinchón recently witnessed one of the most original weddings we have ever seen at Paradores. This truly international couple brought together their friends from different parts of the world at one of Madrid's most enchanting hotels. Igor and Jekarina currently live in New Jersey, and and their friends are spread out between Russia and Slovenia.
Why the Parador de Chinchón? You're probably asking yourself that very question. And the answer is simple: no matter where they planned the wedding, their friends would have to travel, so they took advantage of the opportunity to hold the wedding in the country where they had decided to have their honeymoon.
From the start, the bride and groom knew that Spain was where they wanted to spend their first days as newlyweds. The decision was simple ... they were going to make their dream come true! And so they booked the Parador de Chinchón for themselves and their guests. The hours preceding the wedding were extremely lively in the Parador's chill-out pool.
Because they were celebrating their wedding in high style, the bride and groom wanted to be radiant and truly spectacular on W Day. They left nothing to chance and it was a great success!
The bride wore a lovely ball gown style dress by Allure Bridals, with a low-cut heart-shaped neckline and precious stones on the bodice. The skirt was pleated tulle and organza, revealing exquisite taste.
She chose Bagdley Mischka for the shoes, selecting a pair encrusted with precious stones. Floreale was commissioned to provide a beautiful bouquet of white peonies.
The couple is certainly not conventional. One example of this is that Jekarina decided to do her own make-up in quite a natural style. This was accompanied by a simple, pulled-back hairdo, so as not to detract from the large earrings and veil.
Igor also decided to add a distinctive touch to his look: he had his shoes engraved with the words "She's mine." And for his suit, he opted for an elegant Hugo Boss design, a black dinner jacket with bow tie.
The expression on Igor's face as he watches Jeka approach to recite the longed-for "I do!" says it all.
After sealing their love and departing hand in hand, the guests were free to enjoy the Parador's magnificent gardens. They were served cocktails while the newly married couple posed for photographer Roberto Carmona.
They toured Chinchón in a carriage drawn by a donkey, an experience they will never forget, before returning to celebrate at the Parador and grounds. The result was impeccable. The photos speak for themselves.
The reception had everything, speeches so moving they made the bride cry, a first dance complete with sparklers ... and even flamenco!
A wedding quite out of the ordinary, filled with special touches, surprises, good humor and all the details ... an unforgettable wedding for a wonderful group of people who came to Spain to celebrate together and enjoy an experience they will long remember.
