Lebeña

Lebeña is a small village surrounded by a beautiful landscape protagonized by woods with many natural species. Located only 30km away from the Parador, Lebeña is a rural destination in which you will find rural tourism and a beautiful and unique church. The church of Santa María de Lebeña is the main preromantic monument of Cantabria with Mozarabic style, and even though the church is small, visiting the interior is definitely worth it. Regarding the rural tourism in Lebeña, the highlight is the river Deva which has a big value for the fishing activity with a 5km long section filled with trouts.

A 40 minutes' drive through the CA-185 and the N-621 is all it takes to get from the Parador de Fuente Dé to Lebeña. Also, given that Potes is in the way to Lebeña, you can take a tour and visit both villages on the same day.

Piasca

In piasca, approximately 30k away from the Parador de Fuente Dé, you will find the Church de Santa María de Piasca, leftovers of a romantic monastery. Piasca was back in the day an important monastery from which some few things are well conserved today. One of those proofs of history is the church, which is totally worth the ride.

To get from the Parador de Fuente Dé to Piasca it takes only 40 minutes by car through the CA-185 road.
