The Parador de El Saler is famous for being located next to a prestigious and internationally recognised golf course. It occupies a modern building with spacious and comfortable rooms, an outdoor swimming pool, extensive gardens, a relaxing spa, a football pitch and luxurious outdoor terraces with beautiful views of the surrounding area: the golf course, the Albufera Natural Park and the Mediterranean Sea. The modern convention and events hall "Vela Latina", with a capacity for 400 people, makes this Parador ideal for all kinds of celebrations.
RESERVATIONS AND INFORMATION ON THE GOLF COURSE
On occasions, for reasons of capacity or security, an entrance fee of €30 may be charged to visit the Parador or the adjacent beach. Said ticket will be reimbursed if any consumption is made in the Parador of at least the same amount.
The Parador’s architecture is perfectly integrated into the surrounding landscape of dunes and pine forests, characteristic of the Albufera Natural Park, which is the largest freshwater lake in Spain and an important wetland where you can see more than 300 different species of birds.
It provides easy access to the beach and Valencia, which is less than half an hour's drive away, with places of interest such as the Cathedral, the City of Arts and Sciences, the Malvarrosa beach and the city’s nightlife.

El Saler is located in the heart of the Albufera Natural Park, a landscape of dunes and pine forests that holds the largest freshwater lake in Spain. People frequently head there to see the more than three hundred different species of birds or to sail on the lake. This natural environment offers a first-class beach, with fine sand and clean water, where you can not only swim but also practice beach sports such as windsurfing.
These surroundings of the Natural Park are also home to El Palmar, famous for its rice fields that Blasco Ibáñez portrayed so well, and where you can taste some of the best rice dishes in the province.
The city of Valencia is just half an hour away by car and offers places of interest such as its Cathedral, the City of Arts and Sciences, the Lonja, or the Barrio del Carmen with streets that you’ll love to get lost in as you discover its corners full of history, culture and cuisine. The Parador de El Saler golf course is considered one of the world's best golf courses by professionals and enthusiasts, institutions and the sports media. Built in 1968 by Javier Arana, an internationally acclaimed Spanish golf architect, it’s located in the El Saler Natural Park, on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea, in the Autonomous Region of Valencia.
Its design considers its integration in the protected landscape (non-native species of flora such as the famous "Cat's Claw), and its course runs through different zones, from beach links, similar to the famous Scottish golf courses, to areas with typical Mediterranean vegetation. It's total length is 6,042 m, split into 18 holes, with a par of 72. The club also has a golf school, practice ground, 3 putting greens, 2 approach greens, a pro-shop, club rental, electric trolleys and carts, and a snack-bar and restaurant.
