The Paradores Sustainability Plan 2025-2028, approved by the Board of Directors in January 2025, is framed under the slogan “The echo of your stay”, reflecting our commitment to responsible tourism that leaves a positive footprint on the environment, people and society. This plan is our roadmap to reinforce sustainability as a strategic axis of the business, aligning ourselves with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), European regulations on sustainability and best practices in the tourism sector.

With a comprehensive and transversal vision, the plan seeks to consolidate sustainability in all our areas of activity, guaranteeing a positive impact and a unique experience for our customers.

Plan Structure: 15 Lines of Action

The Sustainability Plan 2025-2028 is articulated in three fundamental pillars: environmental, social and governance. Each of these has specific lines of action that guide our strategy:

Environmental Pillar (Vision Planet)

1. Climate action: towards carbon neutrality of our direct emissions by 2043.

2. Circular economy: reducing plastics, minimising food waste and promoting recycling.

3. Sustainable water management: efficient use of water and reduction of consumption.

4. Protection of natural capital: promotion of nature tourism and conservation of the environment.

5. Communication and environmental awareness

Social Pillar (People's Vision)

6. Inclusive and healthy work environment: welfare and sustainability training.

7. Responsible customers: experiences aligned with sustainability values.

8. Communities: cultural heritage and regional gastronomy, development of initiatives with a positive impact on communities.

Under the concept of “The echo of your stay”, his plan is conceived as a dynamic tool that adapts to regulatory changes and the emerging needs of the sector. Periodic reviews and impact assessments, will be carried out, ensuring that it is updated and aligned with the strategic objectives of Paradores.

Commitment to Investing in Sustainability

To implement this plan, Paradores has earmarked an overall budget of 56.2 million euros, reinforcing our commitment to the sustainable transformation of the tourism sector.
