In a privileged location in the province of Ciudad Real, between the Natural Park of Cabañeros, the Lagunas de Ruidera and the Tablas de Daimiel lies the Parador de Manzanares. It is a Castilian house in which the architecture and its personality have been preserved, with elegant balconies, extensive gardens, children's playgrounds, spacious lounges and swimming pool. It also has a bicycle rental service. In its restaurant there is no shortage of typical dishes including Migas del pastor, Manchego lamb shoulder, Tiznao de bacalao and Pisto manchego.

A little more than 30 kilometres away is the city of Almagro, with its Plaza Mayor and the only playhouse to remain intact and active since the seventeenth century. A few minutes away you can find villages such as Tomelloso, Daimiel, Argamasilla de Alba or Valdepeñas.
