The Parador de Aiguablava looks out over the sea surrounded by pines in a unique setting, the Punta D’es Muts, where you can enjoy beautiful coves and impressive natural spaces.
Its unique location offers unbeatable views of the Costa Brava from the rooms and from the many viewpoints in the Parador gardens. In Aiguablava, the entire Parador faces the sea, including the spa and the outdoor swimming pool, which have spectacular views of the nearby coves.

In Aiguablava, art combines with the impressive Mediterranean landscape to create a beautiful and inspiring space. Reopened in 2020, the building is an outstanding modern Parador that maintains an iconic design, inspired by the typical architecture of the Mediterranean coast.

It also includes large graphic works and oil paintings such as Monegros by José Beulas, Cennino Cennini o el libro del arte by Modest Cuixart and an abstract piece by Joan Hernández Pijuán.

Aiguablava is all about nature and culture. The best way to explore it is by strolling along the beautiful coastal paths, ancient routes that skirt the coast and lead to the stunning coves of Begur. Along these paths, every corner will surprise you with spectacular views of the bay. But Aiguablava also stands out for its cultural heritage, and from here it is well worth visiting the impressive medieval towns of Pals and Peratallada, or the village of Begur, crowned by its imposing castle, which boasts a medieval archaeological site.
This unique area offers a wide range of opportunities to enjoy all kinds of water sports, adventure activities and excursions. If you’re a golf enthusiast, you can also play at the nearby Golf Empordà and Golf de Pals courses, whilst beginners can try their hand at a pitch-and-putt course in Gualta. What’s more, for the more adventurous, this area offers thrilling experiences such as skydiving or hot-air ballooning over the bay.
For those who prefer to explore the area on foot or by bike, some of Spain’s Natural Trails are also nearby – a network of routes that invites you to explore the region in a sustainable way. From here, you can set off along the Muga Nature Trail, which connects the Pyrenees with the Mediterranean, and the Carrilet Greenway Nature Trail, which follows the old railway line between La Garrotxa and the Costa Brava.
