The Parador de Argomaniz is an elegant Renaissance palace that looks out over the plains of Alava and the Sierra de Gorbea. An ideal place to disconnect and relax, with reading areas, terrace and gardens.

The original 18th c. coffered ceiling has been conserved, while the restaurant’s porthole windows are a characteristic feature of Basque architecture. Situated on the gorge of the river Guadalete, the Parador de Arcos de la Frontera, the old Casa del Corregidor, offers an impressive view of the Sierra de Cádiz and the old quarter of the village.

 

The Parador is in a privileged location within the village: next to the Plaza del Cabildo and the Convent of the Mercedarias. The interior will delight you with its views of the rooms and its beautiful Andalusian patio, decorated with traditional trelliswork and tiles. The Parador de Alarcon is located inside a castle with more than 1,300 years of history. It looks out over the river Júcar from the uppermost point of one its gorges, the Pico de los Hidalgos, with privileged views of the area. The castle itself is also regarded as the best preserved one in the province of Cuenca.
