Parador de Ciudad Rodrigo

At the top of a gorge that stands in the plains of the river Águeda, the Parador de Ciudad Rodrigo occupies an emblematic castle rebuilt in 1372 by Henry II of Castile, the first king in the dynasty of Isabel the Catholic.

 

The Parador offers an ideal location to enjoy the architectural wealth of Ciudad Rodrigo. The recently restored and carefully designed rooms are decorated with modern elements combined with traditional Castilian furniture to capture the medieval spirit of the castle. The Parador also has a park and private play area to make it an ideal place for all the family.

Parador de Chinchón

The Parador occupies what was the monastery of Nuestra Señora del Paraíso, which was founded by the first lords of Chinchón in the 15th c. The remaining features of the original building are the cloister and stairway, along with the old chapel, which was converted into a very special suite.

 

The building can be found in the heart of the medieval town. It has large gardens and a typical monastic kitchen garden that is now full of fruit trees and creates an ideal space to disconnect and relax next to the swimming pool located in the old monastery stables. The Parador also has a spectacular glazed cloister that contains an exclusive collection of religious art.

Parador de Carmona

Half an hour’s drive from Seville, the Parador de Carmona, an Andalusi palace, stands on the ruins of an impressive 14th c. Moorish castle as a testimony to the region’s past.

 

The building crowns the city and offers a panoramic view from every corner of the Parador, especially from the terrace and swimming pool. Inside, Mudejar patterns are the main feature of the exquisite décor, which creates unique spaces such as the interior patio, the Salón Bermejo, with its tapestries and antiques, and the old refectory, now converted into a restaurant.

Parador de Cardona

The Parador de Cardona stands on a promontory in a 9th c. castle. It is one of the most impressive medieval complexes in Catalonia. Its privileged location offers visitors an exceptional view of Cardona, the Pyrenees and the interior of Catalonia.

 

Inside, moats, towers and Gothic walls are combined with a décor designed for comfort and furnishings inspired by Catalan medieval art. The restaurant, located in the old refectory, is one of the most impressive in the Paradores portfolio. You’ll be amazed by the gallery of pointed arches as you savour the best in gastronomy.

Parador de Cambados

The beautiful fishing village of Cambados is located in the region of Salnés, in the Rías Baixas. And here, in the capital of Albariño wines, D.O. Rías Baixas, is where the Parador de Cambados awaits you. The former Pazo de Bazán, an elegant manor house with comfortable and well-lit rooms, has retained its interior courtyard and gallery. It’s surrounded by an extensive garden and has a swimming pool where you can enjoy a refreshing swim in summer and the peace and quiet of Cambados during the rest of the year.

Parador de Cangas de Onís

The Parador de Cangas de Onís awaits you on the banks of the river Sella, surrounded by the spectacular Picos de Europa. It is located in the Benedictine monastery of San Pedro de Villanueva, one of the oldest in Asturias and closely linked to the lineage of the first kings of Asturias.

The Parador de Calahorra is situated in the Valley of Cidacos, in the area where the Ebro and Cidacos rivers meet. It’s an elegant building of reddish hues surrounded by a palm garden. Parador de Cáceres

Parador de Alcalá de Henares

The building itself, made up of three restored 17th c. convent schools, blends together with designer décor without losing its historical flavour.
