Excellent parking and a beautiful room 306. Gorgeous view. Swift checkin. The historic setting and beautiful lounges, halls are very impressive. Terrace bar was taken over and busy with a tourist group waiting to go in to dinner. Not enough bar staff, common problem at Paradors. Thankfully a young lady organised drinks and bar meals for us. Very helpful and patient. Sorry no name. But thanks. Bar food was good though the tables (inside) are a very uncomfortable height to eat off. Extremely comfortable bed. Excellent room service breakfast. We really enjoyed our stay. It is however unpleasant that hunting dogs are held in close confinement directly below the property. Not your fault I know but the constant barking and yelping of those poor creatures is disturbing. Some traditions are less pleasing.
