The former seventeenth-century convent in which the Parador de Lleida is located is just a few metres from the Calle Mayor, in the historic centre of the city. The rooms are distributed around a beautiful three-storey central cloister that leads to the church, now converted into a restaurant. The hotel offers a gym, common areas and multipurpose rooms for business meetings.
The emblem of the city of Lleida is the ancient cathedral or Seu Vella, a Romanesque-Gothic construction built on a hill overlooking the city and a large part of the Segrià region. The rest of the old quarter is home to unique corners including the Plaza de Paería, the Seu Nova or New Cathedral and the Main Casino, of neoclassical style.
Lleida also has excellent natural spaces such as La Mitjana Park and the Arboretum or Botanical Gardens, with over five hundred botanical species laid out according to what part of the planet they are from. The location of the Parador de Lleida is perfect for walking around the city. Start with the monumental ensemble of Seu Vella or Old Cathedral, a Romanesque-Gothic temple on which building begun in the thirteenth century. It is located on a hill overlooking the city and part of the region of Segrià. From there, continue the visit through the historic centre of Lleida to the Plaza de la Paería, where the City Hall is located; the Seu Nova or New Cathedral, the Templar Castle of Gardeny, the old Hospital of Santa Maria and the Main Casino, BUILT in neoclassical style.
Lleida is a great destination if you want to follow the Romanesque trail. The nearby route of the Comarca de la Alta Ribagorza, a two-hour drive away, has nine Romanesque churches in the Boí Valley declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The Parador de Lleida is prepared to host a variety of events, from small business meetings to all manner of family or professional celebrations, whether in the cosy Sala Sant Domenc (80m²), alongside the cloister with a capacity for 75 guests or the multi-purpose Sala La Paería (140m²), located on the second floor of this unique building and with a capacity for 130 guests.
