Parador de Santillana Gil Blas
A magnificent 17th c. noble town house stands in the heart of Santillana del Mar, a town declared as a National Monument. This building is now the Parador de Santillana Gil Blas, which takes its name from the famous literary rogue created by Alain-René Lesage in 1715.
Behind an attractive stone façade, a hospitable and elegant interior awaits you, with wooden floors and comfortable rooms, some of which have a fireplace. All this, combined with the regional décor, will take you back to an earlier, more peaceful age, ideal for enjoying a pleasant evening accompanied by the Parador’s excellent cuisine.
