Parador de Santillana Gil Blas

A magnificent 17th c. noble town house stands in the heart of Santillana del Mar, a town declared as a National Monument. This building is now the Parador de Santillana Gil Blas, which takes its name from the famous literary rogue created by Alain-René Lesage in 1715.

 

Behind an attractive stone façade, a hospitable and elegant interior awaits you, with wooden floors and comfortable rooms, some of which have a fireplace. All this, combined with the regional décor, will take you back to an earlier, more peaceful age, ideal for enjoying a pleasant evening accompanied by the Parador’s excellent cuisine.

Parador de Salamanca

The Parador de Salamanca is on the left bank of the river Tormes, opposite the historic city centre. It’s a modern building with windows facing the most iconic buildings in Salamanca, which you can observe while you take a dip in the outdoor swimming pool or relax in the garden. The hotel also has a gym, sauna and a conference centre for all kinds of events.

Parador de Mérida

The Parador de Mérida, one of the first in the network of Paradores, stands on the site of the Roman praetorium, on top of the ruins of the temple dedicated to the Concord of Augustus, inside a 17th c. Baroque monastery founded by the hospitaller order of the Franciscan monks.

 

Located in the heart of the city, the Parador breathes heritage and history. The facilities, which include an outdoor swimming pool, gym, sauna and solarium, merges with historical spaces such as the cloister with Romanesque columns and the main salon, which was the previously chapel and is now an ideal place for any kind of celebration and event.

Parador de Chinchón

The Parador occupies what was the monastery of Nuestra Señora del Paraíso, which was founded by the first lords of Chinchón in the 15th c. The remaining features of the original building are the cloister and stairway, along with the old church, which was converted into a very special suite.

 

The building can be found in the heart of the medieval town. It has large gardens and a typical monastic kitchen garden that is now full of fruit trees and creates an ideal space to disconnect and relax next to the swimming pool located in the old monastery stables. The Parador also has a spectacular glazed cloister that contains an exclusive collection of religious art.

Parador de Córdoba

The Parador stands atop a hill next to the city of Cordoba. It’s situated on the ruins of the site where 'Abd al-Rahman I once built his summer palace. An elegant building, its garden is home to the oldest palm trees in Europe, and it boasts a swimming pool, a children's play area, a paddle tennis court, a tennis court, charging point for electric cars, and the best views of the city. It also has a convention centre with the necessary facilities to ensure successful corporate events.

Parador de Cuenca

The old monastery of San Pablo, built in the beautiful location of La Hoz del Huécar, is home to the Parador de Cuenca, one of the most special place in the city, next to the Bridge of San Pablo and opposite the Casas Colgadas (Hanging Houses).

Parador de Ciudad Rodrigo
