Parador de Trujillo

The 16th century Franciscan convent of Santa Clara is today the Parador de Trujillo. The extraordinary building is built around a central cloister with Renaissance columns and arches, which connected at one end with an old church with a vaulted ceiling where the dining room has been installed. At the other end is the access to the second courtyard in the complex, which is modern in style. The Parador de Trujillo is an ideal destination for rest and leisure, with cosy spaces inside and a swimming pool outside. Its location, near Caceres, is also a perfect place to organise meetings and events in its elegant rooms.

Parador de Toledo

Parador de Teruel

The Parador de Teruel offers a compendium of the Mudejar art that predominates in the city of Teruel. It is on the outskirts of the city, in a palace inspired by Mudejar art and decorated with marble, tiles, pointed arches and Arabic details.

Parador de Segovia

Three kilometres from the historic centre of Segovia is the Parador. A modern building surrounded by large gardens with an outdoor swimming pool from which you can see the historic buildings that make up the city’s skyline. The interior is decorated in a classic style, with care taken over every detail. The spacious lobby and the lounge with its magnificent fireplace are highlights. Parador de Soria

Parador de Sigüenza

The Medieval castle that houses the Parador de Sigüenza dominates the entire city. Kings, cardinals and bishops resided in this 12th century fortress that was built over an Arab citadel. Both the interior and exterior of the castle are impressive. The cobbled courtyard, the rooms with wooden balconies, the 13th century Romanesque chapel and the vaulted dining room will take you on a journey back in time.

Parador de Santo Domingo de la Calzada

The Parador de Santo Domino de la Calzada has been adapted from the old Pilgrims’ Hospital opposite the cathedral. The original building was erected by Santo Domingo in the 12th century to accommodate pilgrims on the Way of St. James. Its style is regal and elegant, with majestic halls and a lobby filled with Gothic arches and wooden coffered ceilings. Here you’ll find a warm and harmonious setting, which is also suitable for events and social gatherings.

Parador de Plasencia

In the heart of this historical city stands the Parador de Plasencia, inside the Monastery of San Vicente Ferrer, which forms part of the 15th c. monumental complex built by the Zúñiga and Pimentel families, dukes of Plasencia.

 

As you enter you are greeted by an impressive building of vaulted ceilings, elegant stone walls and magnificent coffered ceilings, which, combined with its exquisite décor, will take you to another age. The Parador also has an exclusive night bar in the old monastery wine cellar, where you can relax and enjoy the evening in a fantastic setting.

Parador de Mérida

The Parador de Mérida, one of the first in the network of Paradores, stands on the site of the Roman praetorium, on top of the ruins of the temple dedicated to the Concord of Augustus, inside a 17th c. Baroque monastery founded by the hospitaller order of the Franciscan monks.

 

Located in the heart of the city, the Parador breathes heritage and history.
