Parador de Alcalá de Henares

History and modernity go hand in hand at the Parador de Alcalá de Henares to make a unique combination. The building itself, made up of three restored 17th c. convent schools, blends together with designer décor without losing its historical flavour. Outstanding features of parador include the spectacular cloisters, the Jardín Tallado and the spa, located under the vaults of the old convent church.

 

The Parador is ideal for events, meetings and celebrations of all kinds thanks to its 5 room Convention Centre and the Auditorium, which can be divided into 6 additional areas. Added advantages are its location just twenty minute away from the airport and the IFEMA trade fair facilities, while Madrid is only half an hour’s drive away.

Parador de Benavente

Halfway between León and Zamora, dominating a a crossroads of ancient pathways, stands the Parador de Benavente on the remains of the castle of Los Pimentel. The Parador includes the Renaissance Torre del Caracol, which is home to a magnificent Mudejar coffered ceiling and a period bar.

 

The décor, with tapestries, cast iron lamps and handmade materials will transport you to another age. The Gardens of La Mota that surround it, and the spectacular views over the valleys of El Tera and El Órbigo, make it the ideal place to relax, with spots such as the swimming pool and terraces where guests can take it easy and enjoy a well-deserved rest.

Parador de Baiona

To the south of the Rías Baixas (four estuarine inlets), protected by the sea and with views of the beautiful Bay of Baiona, is the peninsula of Monterreal. There the Parador de Baiona awaits you: a historical castle with spectacular views of the ocean.

 

A mix between a medieval castle and a Galician stately home, the Parador offers regal and elegant rooms carefully decorated that will take you back in time to another age. Outstanding features include the majestic stone stairway in the reception area and a huge garden, equipped with a large swimming pool, from where you can view the entire bay.

Parador de Ávila

This Parador in the old Palace of Piedras Albas can be found in the historical quarter of Ávila, where it forms part of its iconic walls. The interior pays homage to the original setting of the rooms, creating an intimate and welcoming environment.

 

Beautiful decorations, stone floors, and even four-poster canopy beds come together to make a harmonious and light filled setting that combines tradition and modernity, with the latest features such a glazed patio and scalable rooms. The Parador is also surrounded by gardens that are ideal for relaxing and discovering its archaeological collection.

Parador de Argomaniz

The Parador de Argomaniz is an elegant Renaissance palace that looks out over the plains of Alava and the Sierra de Gorbea. An ideal place to disconnect and relax, with reading areas, terrace and gardens.

 

One of the most special places is the parador’s restaurant, Aletegui, in the old palace barn. The original 18th c. coffered ceiling has been conserved, while the restaurant’s porthole windows are a characteristic feature of Basque architecture. Let yourself be enchanted by this magical place where wood in all its forms makes every room unique and homely.

Parador de Antequera

If there’s a Parador that breaks with the historical building trend to become a symbol of modernity, it’s the Parador de Antequera. Located in a garden area of the city, it’s the ideal place to relax and rest, or to celebrate any event. Its huge windows let light flood in from all corners and give you views of a magnificent Andalusian landscape, with warm sunsets over the Antequera plain and rock formations such as the Peña de los Enamorados or Lovers’ Peak.

Parador de Albacete

The Parador de Albacete, located on the wide plains of La Mancha, is the ideal place to disconnect, relax and cool off in the swimming pool on hot summer afternoons in La Mancha. The building is an estate with wide corridors, terracotta tiled floors, wooden ceilings and spacious gardens that will remind you of the inns described by Miguel de Cervantes in his most universal book "The Ingenious Gentleman Don Quixote of La Mancha".
