Works carried out at the Parador de Tordesillas
The Parador de Tordesillas closed its doors in September 2024 to undergo the necessary renovations to offer its guests a more modern, comfortable, and sustainable experience. Following a period of closure for improvements, the Parador de Tordesillas reopened its doors on January 17, 2025.

During this renovation period, a series of projects have been carried out that have completely transformed the Parador, improving both its infrastructure and its ambiance:
Pipe replacement to improve system efficiency and performance:
The entire piping system has been replaced to improve its efficiency and performance, ensuring greater reliability in the Parador's systems.
Improvements to the decoration of 38 rooms and common areas:
The rooms and common areas have been renovated to offer a more modern and welcoming atmosphere, where every corner is designed for guest comfort.
Renovation of the spa area:
The wellness area has been completely renovated, with new facilities and services to offer a more relaxing and enjoyable experience.
Acquisition of artistic work:
To enrich the surroundings and give them a unique touch, a work of art has been acquired that personalizes and adds character to the Parador.
Access and parking improvements:
The Parador's street and parking lot have been paved, facilitating access and comfort for our visitors.
Paradores' actions with PRTR funds focused on energy efficiency:
Thanks to the PRTR (Recovery, Transformation, and Resilience Plan) funds, several initiatives focused on energy efficiency have been implemented, reaffirming Paradores' commitment to sustainability.
Roof upgrade and solar panel installation:
The Parador's roof has been renovated, and solar panels have been installed to improve insulation and reduce energy consumption, helping to make the Parador a more environmentally friendly place.
Installation of a biomass boiler:
In support of greener energy, a biomass boiler has been installed, reducing the carbon footprint and contributing to a more sustainable future.
Savings data with energy efficiency measures:
- Comparing consumption in February 2024 (using diesel) with that in February 2025 (using biomass), the energy savings were 50%.
- In February 2025 alone, the Parador de Tordesillas achieved savings of €5,500.
- Thanks to these improvements, the Parador de Tordesillas has achieved an A energy rating, becoming the first Parador in the network to achieve this recognition for its efficient energy consumption and reduced CO2 emissions.
- With all these renovations and improvements, the Parador de Tordesillas not only offers a more modern and comfortable experience, but also positions itself as a benchmark in terms of sustainability and energy efficiency.
