Carlos V (Hab. 101)

The Carlos V room is one of the most spacious and distinctive rooms in the Hondarribia Parador. With its 2x2-metre double bed and thick stone walls, it’s the only room with a window overlooking the main square, lending the rooms a touch of majesty which, together with the marvellous views of the mouth of the River Bidasoa from the other window, will make your stay unforgettable.

Chapel of Philip V (Room 140)

The former monastery chapel is today Room 140, dedicated to Philip V, who was proclaimed King in Chinchon’s Plaza Mayor on 3 August 1706. The alcove is noteworthy for its seven-metre-high vault, and it is magnificently lit by an enormous window with views of the splendid loquat garden. Its wallpaper murals are reminiscent of the gardens of Aranjuez and the wrought-iron furniture is replete with details.

Alfonso I El Batallador (Room 218)

The "Alfonso el Batallador" room occupies two floors of the south-east tower of the former castle of the Order of Calatrava, the seat of the Alcañiz commandery. The ground floor consists of a living room and a bathroom with a shower; the upper floor houses the bedroom with a four-poster bed and a bathroom with a hydro-massage bath. Its exclusive location in the tower gives it the best views. The windows look out on a substantial part of Alcañiz and the banks of the river Guadalope.
