El parador no ofrecía servicio de comida y cena y fuimos al otro parador para cenar. Después de esperar 15 minutos en la cafetería para que nos tomaran nota, nos fuimos al restaurante ,y después de esperar otros 15 minutos sin que ni siquiera nos llevaran la carta( cuando sí que lo hicieron con otros comensales que llegaron un rato después de nosotros),nos levantamos y nos fuimos sin cenar. El servicio de desayuno en santo domingo bernardo de Fresneda,fue estupendo. El servicio de cena en santo domingo de la calzada, decepcionante al 100%. No volveremos.
The gentleman at reception was very unfriendly and did not accept my voucher from the gift box when I paid, although the lady in the evening said that payment with the voucher was fine. We also didn't receive the 20% discount on dinner. If I've got it right, I haven't received the points for the stay and the dinner either. Due to the many problems and inconveniences, I will no longer book Paradores in future, as there were no problems at all at the other hotels (4 stars) and they are often cheaper.
I hope that Villafranca's points will be rectified

Maravilloso edificio en un sitio con unas vistas incomparables. Todo fue excelente desde el momento que dejamos el coche: recepción, amabilidad del servicio, piscina genial y un restaurante exquisito. Destaco esto último y sus camareros. Te hacen estar como en casa pero en un entorno precioso.
Un magnífico lugar.Mi esposo se puso enfermo y tuvimos que irnos antes.El personal estuvo muy atento por verme un poco triste .Espero volver cuando esté ya rehabilitado.
