What a lovely picturesque parador in a secluded location.
On arrival the receptionist was great, the gentleman explained all the parador offerings, very patient with our Spanish and very polite.
This parador is ideal for a quiet and peaceful stay, Well it wasn’t at all!
Unfortunately a wedding was taking place during our stay and while it was very exciting it was also very noisy, wedding guests were still partying at 5:00 in the morning, so very little sleep!
The parador has a great history and is worth exploring.
The restaurant dining was pleasant, the experience was not as good as we had expected, possibly bad choices if it were one night, but night two was not much better.
Breakfast had a good selection as usual, very enjoyable.
The check out reception was the opposite to our arrival, little conversation, we were not asked about our stay and the lady was quite abrupt, this however did not spoil our stay.
Invitamos a comer a unos familiares (9 personas ) y fue una pena, una mala decisión, la espera fué exagerada, cuando llegaron los entrantes habían pasado más de 50 minutos, los segundos platos más de media hora y encima, tuvimos que devolver los platos de algunos de los comensales ,el arroz a banda súper pasado y el cordero muy seco, pidieron salsa para poder comerlo. Los postres bien excepto la sopa de piña con carpaccio de frutas, un timó total trocitos de mini fruta y cuando echaron lo que llamaron sopa bailaban en el agua que no sabía a nada. Una enorme decepcion para una celebración familiar.
