Muy bien.
Entorno estupendo.
El Parador muy muy bien.
Además por la historia que tiene.
Primer Parador definido como tal. Y para la historia de España, lugar donde se perfiló la Constitución de 1978.
The parador has a superb view on the city, the room is spacious and the beds are very good. Those are the only positive points I can mention about this parador.
The building itself definitively needs refreshment. Some equipments like a water cooker for tea or coffeemaker are missing (normally at this level they are mostly standard)
Our dining experience at the restaurant was rather bad: as well the service as the food. Some croquettes were cold, they didn't asked how I wanted the steak to be cooked and they served it too well-done, the meat with the bean speciality was not eatable, our glasses of cava were dropped at the other end of the table so I had to get up to take them, the wine was just opened and put by the table without serving it, the appetitive snack was brought when our cava was nearly finished. We ordered a special menu, but afterwards the speciality-main dish was not available and we had to choose another (cheaper) dish....
Since this was my first booking as an amigo I mentioned with the reservation to have the free breakfast, but upon arrival they told me that this was not possible because I had not downloaded the voucher within 3 months. They didn't offer us a welcome drink as amigo, I had to explicitly ask for it.
It was nice weather today so we visited Segovia in the morning and came back at 15:30 to go to the swimming pool, but the swimming area was exceptionally closed today till 17:00 (at that hour the nicest part of the day is gone...)
So over all we are very disappointed.
