Set a privileged location in the city centre, next to the iconic New Bridge, is the Parador de Ronda, above the old Town Hall. It is in an impressive enclave, a 120-metre-deep cleft with unique views over the River Guadalevín. You can see them from the terrace or while swimming in the pool. The interior is cosy and bright, and has spacious, elegant rooms where you can hold events and business meetings.

The city of Ronda is ideal for a leisurely tour, allowing you to appreciate the ancient Moorish medina on the south bank of the River Guadalevín, cross the New Bridge and walk along the Alameda del Tajo and its avenues, which are full of vegetation, to the impressive balcony over the edge of the abyss. The Puente Nuevo and the Plaza de Toros de la Real Maestranza de Caballería de Ronda are two symbols of the city and are unmissable.
Ronda’s natural environment is no less beautiful than the city itself; it is surrounded by protected areas and the Sierra de la Grazalema, Sierra de las Nieves and Los Alcornocales Natural Parks.A superb setting for a unique city.

Take advantage of the Paradores offers
The best way to explore Ronda is on foot. A leisurely stroll through its streets will let you appreciate the features of the old medina on the banks of the River Guadalevín, cross the New Bridge and walk along the Alameda del Tajo to the impressive balcony over the abyss. The Puente Nuevo (New Bridge) and the Plaza de Toros de la Real Maestranza de Caballería de Ronda are two symbols of the city that are well worth visiting. The Puente Nuevo is an impressive 98-metre-high bridge, built of blocks stone quarried from the riverbed of the River Tagus gorge to connect the old quarter of the city with the modern quarter or Mercadillo. The views from its balconies of the houses overhanging the cliff are spectacular.

In Ronda and its surroundings there are countless places to visit and many activities to enjoy, from discovering the Pueblos Blancos, to visiting the ruins of Acinipo, entering the La Pileta Cave or driving on the Ascari Circuit, and ending with a visit to one of the more than 20 wineries that have the D.O. Sierras de Málaga/Serranía de Ronda, or visiting any of the three Natural Parks that surround the city.
You can also visit Reservatauro, a theme park about the Mediterranean meadow, the fighting bull and the purebred Spanish horse, or the Molino El Vínculo olive mill to learn about the olive oil extraction process.
