The Parador de Ceuta is located in the city centre, next to the Port of Ceuta and Mount Hacho which, legend claims, is one of the Pillars of Hercules, the hero who divided Europe and Africa and made Ceuta the gateway to the European continent.
It is a modern building attached to the former Royal Walls, an exclusive location with views of the Mediterranean Sea and the Royal Moat, the only navigable moat filled with salt water. The Parador has a swimming pool, an extensive garden with lush palm trees, a bar, restaurant, meeting and celebration rooms. It has accessibility facilities and a currency exchange.
The city of Ceuta, between the Mediterranean and the Atlantic, offers sun and beach, exoticism and culture. The city has 21 kilometres of coastline with baches, coves and rocks. Some of its beaches are in the town centre, such as El Chorrillo and La Ribera, opposite the Parador. You can also visit the Legion Museum and the Port of Ceuta, both of which are near the Parador. The port is especially important due to its strategic location and the economic boost it gives to the city. Special tax regimes enable quality purchases to be made at excellent prices.
Other places of interest are the baroque sanctuary of Nuestra Señora de África, the Cathedral and the Palacio de la Asamblea, the seat of Ceuta's town hall.

All of these activities are available to visitors at the Estación Naútica de Ceuta.
Near the Parador de Ceuta is the Royal Walls monument complex, marking the boundaries of the old city. Here you’ll find the Baluarte de los Mallorquines, the oldest bastions in the complex, and the Royal Moat, the only salt-water moat that is currently navigable. You can also visit the Museum of the Legion and the Fort of Monte Hacho.
A stroll through the city will take you to the Baroque sanctuary of Our Lady of Africa and the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Assumption, the Late Roman Basilica and the Arab Baths, the Monument to the Fallen in the African War, and the Museum of Ceuta. The 20th-century Palais de l'Assemblée is noteworthy for its impressive interior staircase and its Throne Room decorated in the French style.
Ceuta is a border city with Morocco. The neighbouring cities of Tetouan (40 km) and Tangier (100 km) are also good options for an excursion.
The Parador is situated in the centre of Ceuta, an excellent location for business meetings, events and celebrations. It has spacious halls for different assemblies, as well as a seasonal swimming pool and a restaurant with a wide and varied culinary offer.
